4D color Doppler ultrasound – Accuvix A30
The introduction of Accuvix A30 is a new step forward in ultrasound imaging technology. The feature helps to merge separate images into one image sequence for fast and accurate results.

New model of a digital X-ray machine – Samsung GU60A
X-ray is a technique using high-energy radiation to help doctors diagnose diseases that cannot be seen with conventional examination methods. GU60A is one of the most modern digital X-ray machines with rapid result and high-quality images, leading to a better diagnosis for patients, especially in those who have trauma or contagious infections involving the lungs that need for a rapid diagnosis and isolation such as tuberculosis, SARS, H5N1 infection.
With the digital technology, GU60 can decrease the radiation effects on patients.

Mammography machine
Breast cancer can be completely cured if detected and treated early. At Hoang Long Clinic, we have equipped with mammography system– a technique is proved to have high efficiency and accuracy on diagnosis. Mammography uses low-energy X-rays to examine the breasts. It can detect abnormalities or tumors in early stage when they are not palpable. It has ability to detect early breast cancer, especially ductal carcinoma in situ (breast cancer without invasion). In this stage, the patients could be entirely cured and performed conservation surgery .

Acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) elastography
ARFI elastography is a diagnostic test for grading liver fibrosis and is recommended by American and European Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology due to its accuracy up to 80% compared to the gold standard.

This technology could help doctors on diagnosing diffuse liver diseases such as fatty liver disease, chronic hepatitis in fatty liver disease, hepatitis B and C virus, cirrhosis; focal liver abnormalities (liver cyst, liver abscess, liver cancer, benign tumor) and other tumors in thyroid, pancreas, and breast.

ARFI elastography software is installed in ultrasound machine, thus it allows doctors to perform both abdominal ultrasound and elastography. It can evaluate liver elasticity in patients having obesity, thick abdominal wall, or ascites – who are limited utility other methods such as Fibroscan.

Findings from ARFI elastography combined with other laboratory tests could either orient doctors’ treatment therapy in patients with hepatitis virus B or differentiate between benign and malignant tumors.
